Antípoda. Revista de Antropología y Arqueología is a journal published every four months (January-March, April-June, July-September and October-December) that comes out at the beginning of each of these periods, and which was created in 2005 and funded by the School of Social Sciences of the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia).
Its objective is to contribute to the advancement and dissemination of anthropological and archaeological knowledge, and to the critical analysis of sociocultural, methodological and theoretical topics that are relevant for the diverse subfields of the discipline and of other related areas of the social and human sciences. Antípoda constitutes an open, critical, pluralist forum in which hitherto unpublished articles and studies are published in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
